Edwards air cooled nXLi, single-phase dry pump range, designed to deliver a consistent performance worldwide with: complete user flexibility in mind.
Performance is at the core of nXLi. The intelligent drive enables the system to achieve an enhanced performance plateau from single phase power supply, and a consistent worldwide operation from a 200 - 230 V (+/-10%) 50/60 Hz single phase supply. The choice of control options are either manual, simple remote or serial communications (RS485 with modbus command set). These may be utilised to provide real control for the system builder.

The nXLi delivers high pumping speeds in a compact footprint. It is the ideal dry pump for end users in applications where a consistent performance, control and reliability are essential, for LCMS and ICMPS end users, and for Scientific OEMs.
It has been optimised for LCMS and ICPMS duties, and is capable of handling gas loads of up to 25 slm. It can also be used on chambers up to 100 litres, and at continuous inlet pressures up to 15 mbar with occasional pumpdown.ed.

The high-speed multi-stage Edwards' roots pumping mechanism provides an oil-free and dust-free clean vacuum environment. It contributes to a pleasant working environment free of oil, smells and particulates, and with very low noise and vibration levels, and low amounts of ambient heat dissipation.
The nXLi is highly energy efficient and uses very low amounts of energy. It employs the newest electric motor technology and electrical power consumption at low pressures is only around 650W.
The nXLi occupies a very reduced footprint and is 40% smaller compared to alternative dry pumps, with only 31 x 66 x 35 (see dimensions below)
It can be easily positioned under a bench-top or elsewhere saving valuable space in your laboratory.
The nXLi is routine-maintenance free. There are no required routine oil nor seal changes, and can go up to five years without any service costsor service down-times.
The nXLi is compact, air-cooled, single-phase, mobile, easy-to-use and easy-to-install vacuum pump. The pump is fitted as standard with the following:
The nXLi integrates a fully capable on-board controller with a local control panel, allowing options such as start-stop, stand-by mode, auto-run optional mode - for automatically re-starting the pump after a power failure e.g. for backing turbos - and LED lights to indicate pump status.
On the back of the pump a 15-pin d-sub connector is fitted as standard for serial communications (RS485 with Modbus command set)
